What about Extended Business Traveling?

Extended Business TravelYou may have noticed that over the past decade, more and more businesses are expanding their reach to an international market.  This is how globalization affects domestic business; the company’s market is expanded to multiple countries across the globe.  So, what does this mean?  Do you have to move or should you just live out of a suitcase?

With the growth of your business comes plenty of company moves, but does this mean relocation is required?  Not necessarily.  Instead of implementing an entire office move, many employees are required to participate in extended business travel.  In other words, they are abroad or away for more than 30 days but less than 180.

Many businesses offer their extended business travelers partial relocation to make the stress of each business trip a little easier to deal with.  Managers know that happy employees perform better.  Partial relocation can involve any number of things but usually means that your employer will provide a temporary residence and assist with partial moving expenses.

Quite often, such employees require storage solutions, movers, and some partial relocation services.  Just think about it – who wants to live out of a hotel for a good part of the year?  If you are one of your company’s star employees and biggest travelers, you may want to talk to your employers about residential solutions. That’s where a moving company can come in.
