I grew up in suburban Washington, DC in Prince Georges county, Maryland. In 1977 I received my BS in Business Administration from the University of Maryland. My involvement in the moving industry was pure chance. I met a salesman from Bekins Van lines while he was helping a neighbor move and we became instant friends. 1978 saw me in a sales position within their company.
I moved throughout the moving industry, working at various companies, and finally settled on the household goods market some 20 years ago. I’ve been here ever since and it’s been one of my great joys. The main thing that drives me is more than my daily interaction with customers. I love helping people with challenging or unique aspects of their relocation and making it happen for them.
In my free time, I am an active member of my local Knights of Columbus council, a huge car enthusiast and a collector of sports memorabilia.
The best words of advice I would give to anyone moving is to work with someone experienced and willing to go the extra mile for them. Nothing less will do!
