Also, try not to get caught up in time constraints – even if you feel pressure to fill the opening. If you do this, you are very likely to end up with an employee that doesn’t fit the bill.
Many employers have found that they can also avoid recruiter’s remorse by automating the hiring process a bit. Of course you can’t get a machine to do your interviews, but you could move your human resources department into a database that allows you to quickly screen certain job candidates. Recruitment optimization is the key to finding the right employees and move away from recruiter’s remorse.
