Tucson has been home to Bill Coatsworth and his family for 41 of the last 51 years. Born on a small
dairy farm in South Dakota, he migrated with his parents and siblings from a small town in Iowa in
1960. He has witnessed great changes in Tucson over those years.
Thirty four of those years have been spent in the moving and storage business, beginning in Tucson,
continuing in Los Angeles and Phoenix, and finally, back to Tucson Again. In that time, he has been
General Manager of a local agency, Sales Manager at several, Agency Relations director for an
international moving company, and Vice President of Sales for the Western U.S. for, at that time, the
world's largest international household goods shipping company. Highlights included working on
logistics for the Los Angeles Olympic games in 1984, and moving the master parts warehouse for a
major automaker.
Bill enjoys people. Nice folks call and invite him to their home, to assist with their move to a new life.
Many friendships have been formed from those initial contacts, but sadly, he often meets these nice
people when they are leaving town. While working with individual household moves occupies much of
his time, he also works with corporate clients in making move arrangements for employees, does office
and industrial relocation arrangements, and is perhaps Tucson's most experienced and qualified expert
in international household goods moving. He works principally in the Northwest side of Tucson, Oro
Valley, Marana, and Catalina, but can, and will, go anywhere in the Tucson area to help with your
moving needs!
In his time off, Bill enjoys travel, reading, karaoke singing, losing golf balls in the desert, and especially,
water volleyball.
